By the way, were anyone else’s parents completely, annoyingly sappy when you got home for Thanksgiving this year? My dad was just entirely too happy to see my grouchy butt arrive home this year.
I guess main event this year was getting our trees from the national forest. It’s going to be a Charlie Brown Christmas on the homestead this year. Even accounting for the fact that trees in the forest are entirely more scraggly than tree farm trees, we really found ourselves a charity case or two.
