One-Sided

I had an epiphany last night...

I am not terribly experienced in the dating arena. Okay, that’s definitely an understatement. However, one area I am experienced in is one-sided relationships. The former boytoy was a nice guy, but I definitely did most of the metaphorical driving.

Last night, I saw clearly that I am putting myself back into that type of situation with the X. If I am the only one looking to renew a relationship, I'll be right back into a one-sided situation. So, I decided to let go. If he wants me back at some point in the future, he's going to have to catch me! It's going to be a lot harder with this new bike, too...

Then he called me back...and we had a fun little conversation...
