While Cody and I were off running a half-marathon on the beach, my sister and her boyfriend were on a much colder beach in Duluth getting affianced.

He proposed to her with the help of some friends holding signs. Her friends obviously presumed they knew the answer to his question, as on the back of the signs they'd written:

My sister resisted any rebellious urges this brought forth. Of course, after five plus years and three furry children, there wasn't much doubt. (Rob has already been in my family lists for over a year.) They then celebrated with an impromptu party with their friends (as if they needed an excuse).
Congratulations to my sister and future brother-in-law!
(And now to find the most irreverent wedding card possible!)
