My new feline companions wish it to be known that they are assisting in the writing of this blog by supervising my work. By supervising, I mean that one is asleep on the couch, and the other skulking around next to me, telling sad tales of great woe.
My parents brought these two critters this last weekend. My father has accepted a job offer in a small town very far north in Canada. Mining in the town is booming and housing cannot keep up with demand. Therefore, the menagerie must be disbanded. The horses will be sent to pasture in Minnesota and another cat will go to my sister's roommate. The remaining two dogs and two cats will go with my parents to Canada.
The boyfriend is taking well to the kitties, despite having to be convinced that some animals do belong in the house. Or should I say, they're taking well to him. He seems to be the napping spot of choice.
