Part III: The Reception

Our reception was very casual.  We had North Carolina BBQ served buffet style on disposable plates.  We had three small kegs of microbrew and a couple cases of wine (served in the always classy plastic cups).  We cut the cake (each with our own knives), had our first dance, our first swing dance and a father/daughter mother/son dance...and that was about it for your normal wedding reception activities.  There were no toasts, no speeches, no bouquet or garter toss (we didn't even have those two things, anyway).  We spent a lot of time on the dancefloor, talking to our family and friends, and taking pictures in the photobooth.  And we had a great time!
