I got noticed at work last week...and it wasn't because of my hair color. It was due to my hard work and leadership in my team over the last several months. I don't generally enjoy a lot of attention outside of my circles, but being praised for something I knew I was doing well was actually quite pleasant...although I really need to learn how to graciously accept compliments.
It was also well-timed, since I was called away unexpectedly for three days right after...
