He arrived mid-afternoon, to find that we hadn't moved much all day. We'd gone out to Howl at the Moon the night before for a combined birthday party and had a great time. I was accused of not taking advantage of my designated driver but staying out late still takes it's toll. Dad had apparently been eating out frequently, as he asked "what can we cook tonight?" It lead us to check out a snooty local fish market (the prices were pretty steep...I'll be looking for alternatives) and cook and watch the movie Last of the Dogmen.
The next morning, we drug dad to our morning with the runner's group on a nearby greenway (we were running eight miles while he was walking). After that, we rode with him down to Columbia (in addition to other things, we are also keeping his vehicle for the time-being since he has a company pickup).
