I pulled into our street yesterday afternoon and something seemed...different. I realize you've probably never been to my house before, but see if you can tell me what's wrong with this picture?
The only damage was a bit of attic siding. The window those tree branches are against isn't even cracked. And we slept right through the whole thing. And drove off the next morning without even noticing that we were down a tree. Sometimes we're very observant.
This is actually the second tree to go down at this place in a matter of months, both completely missing the house by inches. The good news is we're now down to only one much smaller tree in the yard near the house. The bad news is we're down to only one real tree.
